Well, because the matching process consists of two stages – first stage is analyzing all images and divide them into groups, and the second stage is finding the closest objects from the same group (or subgroup, see http://proveyourhumanity.com/ruh/).

Moreover, for those, who wants flexibility and everfreshness, there is a utility (on demand), which creates DB of images from disk-based, categorized list of files.  So, if you feel that somebody ‘taught’ his/her robot to be smart enough with the current DB, just change the DB, and they will spend another two-three months to gather all input from your site 😉
